SBU offers an exceptional voluntary benefits program to any small business employer [fewer than 250 employees] in the United States. Annual membership by the employer allows participation of up to 250 employees in the insurance benefit programs. Once the employer has joined SBU, a Group Membership ID is issued to the employer. Employees may then enroll for membership benefits using their Employers’ Group ID at no cost to the employee for their individual membership. Voluntary products are available for participation by the members. Enrollment in the products is as simple as calling us. A knowledgeable and licensed representative will assist with questions and help identify the right solution for your small business employees.

SBU works with your association to handle the marketing, communication, and customer service to enroll your association members in an insurance benefit solution that meets their individual needs. We provide representation for your association to the insurance carriers and can work to customize a plan and product to meet the needs of your membership.
Associations that qualify pay Annual Membership Dues to SBU and their membership is eligible to become “Sole Proprietor” individual members at a discounted annual membership fee.
