Once your employer has joined SBU, a Group Membership ID is issued in the name of the employer group. You, the employee, may then enroll for membership benefits and access group purchasing discounts using your employer’s Group ID. Associations that qualify for membership in SBU pay no annual membership dues to SBU. The members of qualifying associations (other associations, employers, and in some cases sole proprietors) are eligible to become SBU Employer or Employee Members at a discounted annual membership fee.
