I am pleased to share updates regarding our healthcare program benefits. These changes have been made in response to comments and requests from our subscribers along with our own internal guidance as an on-going effort to fulfill our members' needs. The additional benefits are:

  1. Prescription benefit maximum increased from $300 to $1,200 per year or from $600 to $2,400 per year.

  2. Effective April 1st, 2012, there is a new prescription drug formulary that provides additional generic and preferred brand drugs previously not available at co-pay.

  3. Rate guarantee until December 2013, more than 18-months from now.

In our members benefit section, we just recently renewed our affiliation with OfficeMax, a new Retail Connect Card has been issued – should you want a printed card, please provide us with your mailing info at info@sbua.org.

We also have our newest affiliates with The Company Corporation. The Company Corporation helps hundreds of thousands of small business owners incorporate or form LLCs. For more information please click here.

Starting this month, we will bring out a series of articles for Small Business that might help you at any stage in your business lifecycle.
