“The difference between tax avoidance and tax evasion is the thickness of a prison wall.” ~Denis Healey
Greetings,
Isn't it appropriate that the month our taxes are due begins with April Fools Day and ends with cries of "May Day”!?
April is tax month, and income tax returns are not the only deadlines. There are several tax return deadlines that affect small business owners.
Here are some deadlines you may need to know:
April 15, 2013
-
Personal Income Tax Return – must file before midnight or file an extension including payment, if any, based on your estimate. Note: It is not an extension to pay what you owe. For more information please click here.
-
First Quarter estimated taxes - Please click here for more information
April 30, 2013
-
Quarter payroll tax returns on company payrolls for Q1. For more information please click here.
-
Sales tax returns need to be filed within the state(s) your business operates.
For small businesses 2013 is not much different from 2012. Many of the same issues make it hard to run the company. Please let us know here what your main concerns are, so that we can try to provide you with some ideas on how to manage the problem and maintain a profit.
Helping you to reach your full potential is our ultimate goal.
Sincerely,
Djuliani Soeharto Cordiano
