According to Wikipedia, June is the month with the longest daylight hours of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest daylight hours of the year in the Southern Hemisphere. Now, since we are on the Northern Hemisphere, let’s make June the most productive month for you.
Traditionally, this is the month that business slows down as people are taking various vacations or taking some time out to hang out with friends and family and enjoy the better weather.
If your business is not particular to the summer season, there are a few things you can do to set yourself toward a profitable year-end, such as:
Networking: Get out of the office and meet new people. Take advantage of people’s lighter summer schedule and have fun.
Update your marketing material: Electronic or printed, when was the last time you evaluated them? Marketing materials are designed to help you close more sales, attract more clients, and save time by explaining your products or services. Unfortunately, due to your busy schedule, the marketing materials may have been neglected and may be outdated or no longer have the correct or effective information.
Assess your goals: By now you should have an idea whether your business is on track to reach its goal for the year or not. If you don’t think you will meet your goal, set up some time to work on it. If you are on track, spend some time with your staff and help them reach their goals or correct any mistakes.
